“Come and enjoy our reading of Caryl Churchill’s “funny and provocative” seminal play Top Girls on Sunday 31st May at 3.30pm . Perhaps the most eclectic dinner party has a transvestite Pope, a courtesan-cum-nun, a tireless adventurer, an obedient wife from Chaucer and the leader of a charge into hell from a Bruegel painting sitting around the table. Hosted by Marlene, the newly-promoted manager of the ‘Top Girls’ employment agency, the guests unravel complex questions about a feminism.

We’re looking for readers and audience members. There’s no charge to read or listen, although we welcome donations on a “what you think it’s worth” basis. And we’ll provide hot drinks and sweet goodies, again in return for small donations. Please contact for further information and follow us on Twitter for updates @TheKnutStJust.
